Date: 11th December 2024 PCMG have a small group of highly experienced and expert trainers who deliver high quality training programs in various aspects of outsourcing. This is part of the association’s objectives to identify and spread industry best practice to sponsor companies (pharma/biotech/device) as well as service providers including CROs. These courses are high quality and interactive to enhance the learning experience. The courses are a mixture of formal training, group exercises, breakout sessions and media presentations and are designed around a series of learning objectives. Uniquely, the training team are able to adapt the sessions within courses to meet the specific needs and interests of delegates to further add value. The current training team comprise six individuals, of whom four have been awarded the prestigious PCMG Lifetime Achievement Award. One of the team has extensive CRO experience, whilst two others have very limited CRO experience. As part of the longer term objectives of PCMG it has been identified that we need to broaden our Training Committee. This is essential so we can further the relevance of our training courses to the CRO sector. As a result, the opportunity has arisen to recruit at least two further industry professionals into the team. These individuals should be highly experienced in a variety of roles and be excellent trainers. They will enhance and enrich the team by bringing a greater awareness of the application of outsourcing principles in the service sector and the different challenges and solutions that occur in CROs versus Sponsor organisations. It is expected that greater CRO representation in the team will enhance the appeal of the training courses to a wider audience.
