Looking Ahead to PCMG26: A New Call for Abstracts

The Pharmaceutical Contract Management Group (PCMG) Annual Assembly has always been about more than presentation. Iit is where both sides of the outsourcing process come together. By bringing sponsors and providers into the same space, PCMG creates a uniquely balanced forum for open discussion, shared learning and practical collaboration.
That spirit was on full display at PCMG25 in Málaga, which brought together leading voices from across pharma, biotech, CROs and beyond. Over three days, the Assembly tackled topics ranging from digital interoperability and decentralised clinical trials to equity in rare disease research and sustainability in clinical development. The result was a dynamic exchange of ideas, reflecting the value of hearing from multiple perspectives on the challenges and opportunities shaping our industry.
Building on that success, PCMG26 will introduce something new: an open Call for Abstracts.
By welcoming submissions from across the outsourcing community, from sponsors, CROs, sites, regulators, patient advocates and others, we aim to broaden the range of voices shaping the Assembly. This new approach underlines PCMG’s commitment to balance: ensuring that the programme reflects not just one side of the outsourcing relationship, but the insights and experiences of everyone involved.
The Call for Abstracts will open in the months ahead, with details on how to submit and key dates. For now, we encourage colleagues to begin thinking about the perspectives, case studies and ideas they could bring to the conversation at PCMG26.
Together, we’ll continue to build on what makes PCMG unique: a space where different viewpoints meet, fresh thinking emerges, and the future of clinical outsourcing is shaped in dialogue.
